World of Leading Golf’s Concierge Service Offers Break from the Norm

WLG Concierge Services LogoMembers at World of Leading Golf (WLG) clubs can now avail themselves of an exclusive VIP concierge service offering unique experiences at other member clubs.

The special packages are designed to enable golfers to experience life as a member at WLG clubs, where they can receive VIP treatment for either a day or three nights. There are also options for tours and tournament play, offered by individual clubs, clubs working together, WLG partners and WLG itself.

Claus Feldt, WLG’s chief executive, said: “For members of clubs belonging to WLG, golf is more than just a sport, it is a way of life. Such people appreciate the ambience, style, service and gastronomy that comes as standard with WLG member clubs. And now they can enjoy it for themselves at clubs other than their own.

“We have created several member-only packages to destinations in Europe and the Middle East which enable golfers – and their families – to enjoy life as a member of a different club, either as a day visitor or as a three-night resident of the accommodation at the destination. The exclusive breaks can even include participation in tournaments.”

The residential packages start at €190 per person per night, based on a three-night break at the multi-award-winning Monte Rei Golf & Country Club, in Portugal, which includes B&B accommodation for two in a luxury one-bedroom villa, two rounds of golf each on the championship course – with shared buggy – and access to all recreational options, including gymnasium, sauna and steam bath.

The ‘member for a day’ package at Yas Links, for example, costs €106 per person – plus green fee. It includes VIP transfer to and from the hotel or airport, course planner, Yas Links polo shirt and cap, locker in a preferred area, access to driving range, soft drinks, bag tag, buggy and complimentary cleaning of clubs and shoes. Other ‘day’ packages will also be available soon.

Feldt added: “The WLG concierge service has been designed to advise upon and book exclusive breaks for our members’ members, all the while removing any hassle normally associated with golf travel arrangements.”
