Torquay Hotel to run Millennium golf challenge at Dainton Park GC

Starting on 1st April and running through to the end of September, visitors at The Toorak Hotel, Torquay will be able to enter a Millennium Golf Challenge to be played at Dainton Park Golf Club near Newton AbbottDainton Park Golf Club is reckoned to have two of the toughest opening holes in Devon and the 6,200 yard par 71 course has the challenge and variety to inspire golfers of every standard. The course features well protected greens, elevated tees, strategic water hazards and tree lined fairways. It makes full use of the rolling Devon countryside with some quite spectacular scenery. It is one of eight courses included in the fully inclusive golfing packages which are on offer at The Toorak Hotel this year. With the mild south Devon climate, the hotel enjoys a long season. The area has a variety of courses including the renowned St Mellion Golf and Country Club.
