Golfers are being custom-fitted for the latest Titleist clubs at Gleneagles this summer, as the Titleist National Fitting Centre sets up home at The PGA National Golf Academy.

A Titleist master fitter will be based at Gleneagles until the end of September, giving golfers access to a bespoke fitting experience and the full Titleist product range.

Golfers who come for a fitting session will also be able to take advantage of a special £380 four-ball offer for a tee time at any time of day, on any course, seven days a week.

Andrew Jowett, Gleneagles’ PGA Head Professional said: “This service is a completely unique experience for golfers and will leave no stone unturned. In the one hour fitting sessions, Titleist’s very own club fitting technician will look at a specific aspect of your game, from driving through to putting, giving you a fully comprehensive fit and access to a phenomenal range of heads, shafts, and combinations for clubs.

“When a golfer comes in for a fit, he or she can also bring along three friends to enjoy a fantastic green fee rate on one of our championship courses so it’s a fantastic offer.”

The price for the service is £40 for a single club fit, £70 for a multi-club fit and £120 for a full set club fit.

Gleneagles’ PGA National Golf Academy, which is also home to the National fitting centre for Mizuno, has recently had a makeover to maximise its retail and custom fitting offering.

Gary Silcock, Gleneagles Director of Golf said: “After hosting such a successful Ryder Cup in 2014, we wanted to ensure our golf offering went from strength to strength, and all this recent investment in our golf facilities – in our Academy, on our courses, and in the Dormy Clubhouse – is a reflection of that commitment.

“We now offer the most expansive club selection we have ever had – including the latest equipment from the five leading manufacturers, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping and Mizuno – while remaining competitively priced within the industry.

“Our Head Greenkeeper on The PGA Centenary Course is also looking after the Academy practice areas to create a similar identity to that of the course. The Academy is often what creates a golfer’s first impression, so it’s important for us that it reflects the 18 holes that are about to be played.

“Whether golfers come for the Titleist or Mizuno custom fitting service, a golf lesson, or just a practice session, our Academy offers first class service and facilities and helps us facilitate an outstanding all-round golfer’s experience.”
