Reduced prices for Open Golf accommodation

Beach Crest, Deal

Excitement is most definitely building now for the week of the Open Championship. If the overwhelming success of the ‘Golf Live’ event at the London Club is anything to go by, the crowds will flock to Sandwich in their thousands to watch the Open Championship being hosted in Sandwich for the 14th time.

Those who have been before know that Sandwich is a picturesque and typically English village, where hotels and B&B accommodation is quite limited. Local home owners offer their houses to provide very attractive and comfortable properties for people wishing to visit the golf and who want to be close to the course.

Mulberry Cottages still have a good selection of golf accommodation available in Sandwich within walking distance of the course.

“We have different types of accommodation to suit all budgets, from townhouses to stylish apartments with wonderful sea views,” says Emma Reynolds for the firm. “Many of these properties allow short breaks and are available at reduced prices. This is a very good time to secure something which is close to all the action!

“Our golf representative Julia Sparks is a keen golfer who is married to a golf professional so she understands the needs of the players. Julia knows Sandwich and the surrounding areas inside out so can help with all your questions and queries about where to stay. Tina Yates who is our other golf expert can organise tee times and offer you discounted green fees at a number of the best links courses in the country.”
