PerryGolf unveils luxury golf cruise packages for 2025

8.37am 12th July 2023 - Travel

With many of the worldwide golf cruises in its 2024 portfolio approaching capacity, PerryGolf has announced its 2025 itinerary, with 17 departures scheduled from January to late October now available for early booking.

Offered in partnership with upmarket cruise line company Azamara, PerryGolf’s schedule will include tee times at more than 70 of the world’s most highly-rated golf courses, including 22 ranked inside the world’s top 100.

In the British Isles, five voyages are scheduled between June and August highlighted by the company’s annual flagship cruise to England, Ireland and Scotland, which includes three or six rounds of golf plus attendance at The 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush.

A pair of ‘Scottish Links & Islands Golf Cruises’ will twice navigate the breathtaking Hebridean Archipelago of Scotland’s remote northern coast for 12 nights and five rounds each to play courses such as Royal Dornoch, Turnberry and Dumbarnie Links. Another pair of Irish Links Golf Cruises will nearly circumnavigate the Emerald Isle on two occasions for 11 and 12 nights with five and six rounds, including games at Royal County Down, Royal Portrush and Ballybunion.

Dumbarnie Links will feature on the Scottish Links cruise

“It’s game on now,” says PerryGolf President and co-founder Gordon Dalgleish. “Last year we restarted our business under unprecedented circumstances. 2024 began booking ten months ago, as did our first two golf cruise departures for 2025. That portfolio is already 61% sold, with several voyages on and nearing waitlists, including our 2024 British Isles Golf Cruise with attendance to The 152nd Open at Royal Troon.  We’re pleased now at this early stage to release the balance of our 2025 portfolio so that our golf cruise clients can take advantage of early booking offers and the best selection of 46 suites, each with balcony and butler service, which routinely book first onboard Azamara’s small-sized ships.”

Luxury accommodation is offered on Azamara’s fleet of luxury cruise ships

The ever-popular Mediterranean Sea & Iberian Peninsula will feature eight departures beginning or ending in Lisbon, Athens, Barcelona, Bordeaux or Nice, all the while playing top courses such as Finca Cortesin, El Saler, La Reserva, Pevero, Crete and Sperone. Across all voyages, guests can take advantage of Azamara’s late stays and overnights in port, providing ample time to become immersed in each unique destination beyond the golf course.

As usual, the 2025 portfolio will cherry pick a far-flung list of destinations beginning in January with perennial sellout New Zealand & Australia to play astounding Cape Kidnappers and Kauri Cliffs.  PerryGolf has “doubled Down Under” by offering two of these golf cruises in 2025, which collectively are already 69% sold out.  In Norway, they will visit the Land of the Midnight Sun to play inside the Arctic Circle at spectacular Lofoten Links.  PerryGolf is pleased to return to the Baltic Sea for 15 nights and 6 rounds including the highly acclaimed Bro Hof Slott.

“While the cruising industry was hammered during the pandemic for a variety of reasons, it has returned with a vengeance.  We are witnessing very strong demand for future golf cruise bookings.  Any negative sentiments toward cruising have been quickly overcome.”
