The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews has launched a new range of golf packages to coincide with the town’s hosting of the 150th Open Championship next month.

The hotel sits alongside the Old Course, overlooking the famous 17th Road Hole, and enjoying panoramic views of the finishing holes and the historic Swilcan Bridge.

Guests staying at the Old Course Hotel on a Suite Golf package can recreate their own championship round and play the course with a guaranteed tee time, and enjoy the wealth of world class links courses nearby too.

The Old Course Hotel’s own championship course, The Duke’s, provides magnificent, breath-taking panoramic views over the town of St Andrews and stunning coastline. The 18-hole course is set up as two loops of nine holes – providing flexibility to change the course’s layout to suit multiple formats and competitions, and giving returning players a new experience. The Duke’s offers a range of first class facilities including a fully stocked pro shop, driving range, short game practice facilities and a fleet of buggies.

Over the past year, Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa has undergone an extensive multi-million-pound renovation, including the introduction of a penthouse, the addition of 31 new guest rooms and refurbished events spaces, as well as new destination restaurant and bar, Swilcan Loft, which launched in autumn 2021. The hotel now boasts 175 rooms, with the introduction of a third floor in the ‘Champions Wing’ and the addition of 31 new rooms, overlooking the Old Course.

In addition to six restaurant and bar spaces, the Old Course Hotel is home to the award-winning Kohler Waters Spa featuring 13 treatment rooms, including two twin rooms for couples, a 20m pool, along with the Kohler Waters Thermal Suite, which includes a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and plunge pool.
