The Azalea Group has enjoyed a flying start to 2014 and the international golf and travel marcomms specialist has been recruited by an exciting new Lisbon golf brand to showcase some of the finest courses in close proximity to Portugal’s capital city.
ORIZONTE – Lisbon Golf, a group of seven courses – six courses to the south of Lisbon and one to the north- has turned to Azalea to help promote its unique offering to Europe’s key golf travel markets.
Among the courses on offer is Quinta do Peru, a host to several European Challenge Tour events, two championship layouts at Aroeira – including Aroeira I, venue for the Portuguese Open in 1996 and 1997 – and two more challenging courses set within ancient cork oak forest at Ribagolfe, a host of the European Tour Qualifying School since 2009.
In addition, golfers can enjoy the 7,000-plus yards challenge of Santo Estevão and one further 9-hole course in Oeiras, just 15 minutes from the city centre, while ORIZONTE also offers visitors exceptional value for money on a wide range of accommodation options across the region.
