Costa Navarino, the prime sustainable destination located in the Greek region of Messinia, southwest Peloponnese, is continuing to bring a new golfing experience to Greece through its unique Junior Golf Camps.
Following the success of the first Camp, held in June and the first of its kind to take place in Greece, the NavarinoGolfAcademy is set to host the second round of events on 2nd to 6th September 2013.
The GolfAcademy is once again ready to welcome children and teenagers across two age groups (8-12 and 13-17 years old), for a week of sports and fun activities in the unique seaside landscape to cap off their summer holiday.
Through the Camps, Costa Navarino is encouraging the next generation of golfing professionals to step up to the tee and experience the destination’s signature courses, The Dunes Course and The Bay Course.
Regarded as amongst the best in Europe, the courses are the ideal setting for this entertaining, sports focused five-day programme.
For those attending the camps, there are two accommodation options, either to stay with their parents at the Westin Resort Costa Navarino, or to exercise their independence staying alone at the unique Sandcastle facility under the supervision of the experienced and trained personnel from the Worldwide Kids Company – the leading international company in professional child care.
The Junior Golf Camps provide an introduction to golf through theory and practical tuition at the state-of-the-art NavarinoGolfAcademy complete with driving range, short game area, putting green and indoor simulator. Enriched by a wide range of sporting and cultural activities, every participant will have a diverse experience of not only golf but also learning about the area and its rich history.
Navarino Dunes, the first area in Costa Navarino, provides the ideal backdrop for children and teenagers to make the most of their sport-filled holidays, with a wide range of options available in addition to golf, including ten-pin bowling, beach volleyball, exhilarating water park with slides, full size indoor basketball court, tennis courts, fun and learning games, archaeological trips, movies, arts and crafts.
For this fun-filled five-day programme, the following options are available:
- Accommodation with supervision at the Sandcastle: €1,050 (approximately £893). This includes the lessons at the NavarinoGolfAcademy, 5-nights’ accommodation at the Sandcastle, all meals & beverages, and a full program of activities at the SandCastle.
- Stay with parents at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino: €1,600 (approximately £1,360). This includes the lessons at the NavarinoGolfAcademy for 1 child/adolescent, 5-nights’ accommodation on a double occupancy basis (incl. breakfast) at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino, and a full program of activities at the Sandcastle. Additional charges for a third person may apply.
