Golfbreaks, Europe’s leading golf tour operator, have announced Monte Rei Resort as the headline sponsor of the Golfbreaks UK Pairs event schedule.

The comprehensive three-year agreement provides a range of promotional benefits for one of Portugal’s finest golf resorts.

Golfbreaks have confirmed six amateur events across 2022 in the UK, the first of which is taking place at Marriott Forest of Arden tomorrow, followed by dates at The Oxfordshire, West Byfleet, Marriott Hanbury Manor, Carden Park, and The Celtic Manor. Monte Rei Resort will be providing a golf holiday as the top prize at all events. The Headline prize is a fantastic opportunity for golfers to win an exceptional golf travel experience to a resort featuring Portugal’s No1 ranked golf course.

In addition to the event sponsorship, the partnership provides the platform for Monte Rei to gain valuable exposure in the UK, specifically focused on presenting the outstanding quality of experience on and off the golf course at Monte Rei Resort.

Golfbreaks’ Head of Commercial, Nik Hayes, commented: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Monte Rei Resort. The prize coverage across our UK events is brilliant for our competing golfers and the opportunity to showcase a world-leading golf destination to our wider customer base is very exciting for Golfbreaks”

Monte Rei Resort’s Director of Sales and Hospitality, David Ashington, added: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Golfbreaks across such a well-regarded events series. The opportunity to present Monte Rei to the Golfbreaks customer base and showcase the world class facilities we have was extremely appealing. There are a lot of exciting developments in the pipeline for Monte Rei and we feel that Golfbreaks are the ideal partner to help tell our story.”
