Leading Courses has partnered with Booking.com, one of the world’s leading digital travel companies, to make it easier for golfers to book golf hotels or resorts while booking their tee times on Leadingcourses.com.

Founded in 2012, LeadingCourses.com is the largest golf course comparison website in Europe, offering thousands of instantly bookable golf courses within Europe and abroad. Leading Courses’ mission is to help golfers discover their desired golfing experience based on their skill level, location, wants and needs. LeadingCourses.com currently has over 400,000 visitors per month and offers tee times for 3,000 golf clubs in 18 countries.

Through a renewed special integration with Booking.com on Leading Courses, golfers can now also easily find and book the most relevant places to stay near the golf courses they are planning to play, with access to more than 28 million accommodation listings on Booking.com, including more than 6.4 million listings in homes, apartments and other unique places to stay.

By arranging their accommodation with Booking.com they’re guaranteed to get a great price and enjoy a seamless end-to-end golf trip experience, whether they’re staying at a holiday home with a view of the green or a 5-star resort.

Leading Courses CEO Ruben Meiland

Ruben Meiland, CEO of Leading Courses, said: “Data shows that the vast majority of our users book tee times abroad. Whether it’s Dutch golfers booking tee times in Spain or Swedish golfers playing in Portugal; we cater to golfers throughout Europe that have such a passion for the game that they travel to play the best courses. That’s why this partnership with Booking.com is so exciting. By leveraging forward-thinking technology from both ends, we’re able to provide our audience with relevant accommodations that meet their needs. And this is just the first step.”

Xaveer Fluitman, Director of Partnerships at Booking.com, commented: “As people are starting to travel again, including to nurture their passions and hobbies, we want to make sure it’s as easy and seamless as it possibly can be. We’re pleased to be collaborating with Leading Courses to provide golfers with the unrivalled choice and value Booking.com is known for. Whether you prefer a great city apartment, a luxury hotel or something more unique, we’ve got a hole in one for every kind of golf trip.”
