La Cala Resort in Spain has unveiled the results of a renovation of the public spaces surrounding its clubhouse ahead of the summer golf season.
Guests will now be able to enjoy an extended terrace, comprising both shaded and unshaded areas, with plenty of different seating options, ideal for unwinding after a round of golf or a spa treatment. Two new pergolas on each side of the terrace have also been added, with a range of sofas and chairs available for guests to relax on.
In the coming weeks, new furniture will be added on the terrace and in the canopy area, completing the finishing touches to the outdoor element of the clubhouse renovation project.
Next winter will see further improvements to the inside of the clubhouse, with the addition of expansive glass windows to bring the outside in.
La Cala is also making improvements to the hotel’s Panoramic Bar with more tables and seating spaces, plus a new menu.
Following the completion of the overall construction, the new terrace was officially re-opened during an evening with property owners at La Cala, who were all able to experience first-hand the scale of the finished renovations.
“We are constantly looking at ways to improve our product to deliver the best possible experience for guests at La Cala,” says Sean Corte-Real, Resort General Manager. “This clubhouse upgrade is the latest in an ongoing drive to ensure our facilities are setting the standard in every department. It’s exciting for the future, as we continue to get better and better.”
