INFINITUM earns plaudits at 59club Awards

12.33pm 4th March 2022 - Travel

Spanish golf resort INFINITUM picked up the award for Food and Beverage Manager of the Year as well as a prestigious Silver Flag award at last night’s 59club Service Excellence Awards ceremony.

Hosted at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, the awards recognise the performance of the foremost providers of golf, hospitality and leisure, with INFINITUM – formerly known as Lumine – leading the way in the Europe South region that also includes venues in Italy, Portugal and Greece.

The Costa Dorada-based resort offers four exclusive dining options, with the headline restaurant Flamma complemented by Gusto, The Lakehouse Bistrot and Terra, boasting some of the region’s best gastronomy and proven best-in-class service.

These hospitality plaudits follow the recent news that the resort’s Lakes Course will host the DP World Tour’s ISPS Handa Championship this spring, further cementing the INFINITUM’s position as Europe’s Best Golf Venue and affirming the holistic experience the resort provides.

Determined by scores taken from 59club’s impartial mystery shopping team, who evaluate every element of an experience including management, golf course, operations and food and beverage, these accolades highlight the superior service standards of the team at INFINITUM.

Marielle Meulenberg, Regional Sales Manager 59club Europe South, said: “It is with great pleasure that we recognise the exceptional level of service at INFINITUM, along with the additional honour of a Golf Flag award – an accolade that marks quality excellence for leading customer centric properties.

“This will be our second year working together with INFINITUM, a relationship that has proven both successful and enjoyable, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements over the coming year. It’s an honour to offer our continued support and form part of their journey as they progress and expand.”

With 36 holes of championship golf, in the Hills and the Lakes courses, weaving through picturesque and varied terrain, complemented by the nine-hole Ruins layout and pristine practice facilities, INFINITUM provides the perfect environment for golfers of all abilities.

The resort’s exceptional service also extends far beyond golf and gastronomy, to a host of other first-class amenities that provide an all-round lifestyle experience, such as the beautiful Beach Club, often regarded as one of the best in Spain.

Pablo Guerrero Jaureguizar, Golf Guest Service Manager, said: “We’re extremely proud of the experience guests and members alike have at our resort, and for our F&B Manager Vicky Farriol to be recognised is a fantastic accomplishment, and one shared with the whole F&B team, who put in an enormous amount of hard work and care to every element of our guest offering. To have our service standards recognised as amongst the best in the region, by the industry experts, highlights our desire to ensure a world-class experience for all those who come to INFINITUM.”
