Golfbreaks has renewed its exclusive travel partnership with The PGA for a further three years, extending a relationship that, by the end of the new term, will have spanned more than two decades.

While the renewal reflects the strength of a partnership that began in 2007, the real focus is on what’s next. Over the next three years, Golfbreaks and The PGA will continue investing in initiatives that help PGA Professionals grow their travel business, deliver exceptional experiences for their members and clients, and gain first-hand knowledge of some of the world’s leading golf destinations.

Central to that commitment is the continued growth of the Golfbreaks Pro Travel Club. Launched in 2023, the programme has already attracted more than 1,000 PGA Professionals, giving members access to dedicated travel support, market-leading rates and a biennial booking credit of £500, simply for placing their golf travel bookings through Golfbreaks.

With membership continuing to grow, Golfbreaks expects to return more than £500,000 to PGA Professionals over the next two years through booking credit alone – a significant investment that reflects the company’s long-term commitment to PGA Members.

Ben Foster, Director of Pro Travel at Golfbreaks, said: “This renewal is about more than extending an agreement. It’s about continuing to invest in PGA Professionals and making sure they have a travel partner that genuinely helps them grow. We know golf travel has become an increasingly important part of many professionals’ businesses, and our role is to make that as rewarding and straightforward as possible.

“Through our dedicated Pro Travel team, our Pro Travel Club and our long-term partnership with The PGA, we’re giving professionals the expertise, support and commercial benefits they need to create outstanding golf experiences for their members and clients. More than 1,000 PGA Professionals have already joined our Pro Travel Club, and committing over half a million pounds back into the professional eco system through our booking credit is something we’re incredibly proud of. It demonstrates that we’re investing in the people who help grow the game every day.”

The renewed partnership will also see the return of Golfbreaks’ popular PGA Inspection Trips, giving professionals exclusive opportunities to experience leading PGA Branded Properties before recommending them to their own travelling groups. A new programme of 2026/27 inspection trips is already in development, alongside expanded educational content and destination insight from Golfbreaks’ team of Pro Travel Experts.

Duncan Rougvie, Head of Commercial at The PGA, said: “Golfbreaks has been a trusted partner to The PGA for many years, consistently demonstrating a genuine commitment to supporting our Members and helping them grow their businesses through golf travel. The continued success of initiatives such as the Golfbreaks Pro Travel Club, combined with the team’s investment in dedicated support, educational content and valuable inspection trips, has created real opportunities for PGA Professionals to deliver exceptional experiences for their members and clients.

“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership for another three years and look forward to building on everything we’ve achieved together. By continuing to innovate and invest in the services available to our Members, we’re confident this partnership will go from strength to strength and deliver even greater value for PGA Professionals in the years ahead.”

Alongside exclusive travel opportunities, the partnership will continue to deliver practical resources, destination knowledge and expert advice that help Professionals plan and deliver memorable golf tours for members and clients, whether travelling within the UK, across Europe or to long-haul destinations.

Justine Beach, Chief Marketing Officer at Golfbreaks, added: “Golf travel continues to be one of the best ways for PGA Professionals to strengthen relationships with their members while creating unforgettable experiences away from the golf club. Our partnership with The PGA allows us to keep investing in the tools, content and opportunities that make that possible. From educational resources and destination inspiration to inspection trips and exclusive member benefits, we’re excited about what’s ahead and the impact we can continue to make together.”
