Four For Three Golf at The Duke’s St Andrews

Duke's Course Hole 3

The Duke’s St Andrews is offering golfers the chance to book a fourball over the award-winning championship course and pay for just three tee times resulting in an absolutely unbeatable rate of just £26.25 per person from now until the end of March.

Following the harsh winter and heavy snowfall, many courses across the country have been closed over the last couple of months so The Duke’s is hoping that their exclusive ‘Four! For Three’ package will encourage golfers back onto the fairways.

“It’s been a pretty miserable time over the last few months weather-wise for both golfers and golf clubs,” comments David Scott, Manager The Duke’s & Estates Landscapes. “Hopefully our ‘Four! For Three’ offer will entice people back to the golf course. Now that the snow has gone, The Duke’s is back in great condition and golfers will certainly be assured of a very warm welcome by everyone in the clubhouse at The Duke’s.”

Originally designed by five-time Open champion Peter Thomson, The Duke’s was renovated by American Tim Liddy, who has worked with distinguished golf course designer Pete Dye for the past 18 years. Liddy transformed the course in June 2006 into a majestic heathland course reminiscent of the true heathland courses of the 1950s.

With five different tees on each hole, The Duke’s is suitable for players of every level and offers spectacular views over the Auld Grey Toon of St Andrews and the Grampians in the distance.

The Duke’s St Andrews is an award-winning club and most recently was honoured to win the best Golf Club in the UK at the inaugural “Golf Club of the Year Awards” for 2010. In addition to securing the overall title, The Duke’s also secured Awards for the “Best Club for Members” in the UK and the “Best Club in Scotland” in the regional Scottish Awards.
