With the eyes of the golfing world on Pinehurst, places are still available for the 2015 Golfbreaks.com Pro-Am at the legendary North Carolina resort.

The Pinehurst Pro-Am will take place on 25th – 28th February, 2015, with competitors able to follow in the footsteps of recent US Open winners Martin Kaymer and Michelle Wie in taking on the fabled No.2 course.

The three-round event is open to teams from across the world, with each team comprising one PGA Professional and three amateurs. With an individual prize fund of £10,000/€12,000 the Pinehurst Pro-Am is set to be one of the most popular events of the 2015 circuit.

The trip, which also includes rounds on the No.4 and No.8 courses – as well as a practice round at one other of the resort’s nine courses – has already proved extremely popular with golfers, with bookings coming in from across Europe and the United States. With space for just 25 teams, those thinking of entering should contact Golfbreaks.com as soon as possible to secure a place.

A first Pro-Am in North America –which is to be sanctioned by the PGAs of Europe – will also be complemented by a further two events in the glorious Andalucia region of Spain.

The 2014 Spain Pro-Ams – supported by the Andalucia Tourist Board & Golfbidder – were a huge success, with more than 150 golfers from across Europe taking part. The 2015 Pro-Ams will include two rounds at European Tour course, La Reserva, before a grand finale at the legendary Ryder Cup venue, Valderrama.

Jim Long, Golfbreaks.com’s Director of Golf Pro Relations, said: “We’re delighted that the magnificent Pinehurst resort has been showcased to the world in recent weeks and look forward to welcoming the teams in February. We’re very excited about our first USA Pro-Am and encourage anybody considering it to get in touch as places are limited. With two Spanish Pro-Ams to also consider, there are three great events to choose from.”

Entry to the Pinehurst Pro-Am costs £1,180/€1,414 pp, with the Pro going absolutely free. This price includes:
