ClubstoHire.com, Europe’s leading golf club rental company, has added 1,000 sets of some of the best clubs on the market to its offering for golfers travelling to popular golfing destinations.
The award-winning service – that allows golfers to rent a set of clubs from €35 per week and which was used by a record 40,000 customers last year– will now offer the very latest clubs for 2014 from big-name brands such as TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno and Wilson Staff in more than a dozen European destinations and in the recently-opened venue of Cape Town in South Africa.
One of the main attractions in the star-studded club line-up will be TaylorMade’s highly-rated JetSpeed woods and SpeedBlade irons, plus the distinctive new R1 driver. Golfers can also trial the recently re-launched Big Bertha driver and the X2 Hot range from Callaway, as well as several other of the brand’s products like the Diablo Octane fairway woods that are used by the likes of Race to Dubai and FedEx Cup winner Henrik Stenson.
Wilson Staff’s FG Tour irons – used by Major champion Paul Lawrie – are also available for golfers booking through ClubstoHire, while the latest Mizuno JPX-825 range of woods and irons can also be hired out.
“As well as avoiding the increasing cost of airline baggage charges, golfers are now able to trial a number of the most sought-after clubs on the market,” said CEO Tony Judge, who estimates the company has saved more than 90,000 travelling golfers in excess of €3 million since its foundation in July 2010. “This represents our strongest line-up of clubs ever and we hope golfers will continue to enjoy the benefits of using such high-tech equipment at an affordable cost.”
In addition to the latest men’s and ladies clubs, ClubstoHire also offers options for juniors and left-handed golfers, plus putters like the Callaway Odyssey 2-ball and golf bags.
Golfers booking clubs through the easy-to-use website – which was refreshed last year to cope with the growing number of orders – will receive a ‘thank you’ note from brand ambassador and 2014 Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley.
