The 8th Invitational Father & Daughter Golf Tournament is being held in Waterville, Co. Kerry for the first time. The event will take place from 23rd to 26th July at the Waterville Links and will be played over three days. The event has previously been held at Trump’s course at Doonbeg and the Old Head of Kinsale. Last year 28 teams from 5 countries participated with the eventual winners Massmiliano & Vittoria Perletti from Italy prevailing.
The 26th World Invitational Father & Son Golf Tournament will be held from 5th to 9th August at the Waterville Golf Links. Already 70 teams are confirmed for this Invitation only event. The 2014 event saw 94 teams from 13 countries compete, with Bob & William Prince from the US winning the Gross and Gerry and Cormac McManus from Ireland winning the Nett.
The 3rd Annual Carr Golf Invitational Pro Am is scheduled to be held once again on Ireland’s greatest Links courses from 18th to 22nd October. The event will once again visit Dublin and Northern Ireland, playing one round each at Portmarnock Golf Club and Royal County Down Golf Club and finishing with two rounds at the Open Championship venue, Royal Portrush Golf Club. The International Invitational Pro Am event partners with several International PGA organisations, namely the PGA of Canada, PGA Metropolitan Section and the PGA’s of Europe, who work with Carr Golf in administering the event. The 2014 event saw 18 teams from Ireland, Scotland, US & Canada compete with New Albany Country Club winning the team prize and Gareth Wright winning the professional prize. The event has a prize fund of $10,000.
