Antognolla Golf to Participate in 2020 IGTM Links

3.30pm 25th September 2020 - Travel

Antognolla Golf have confirmed their participation in the 2020 IGTM Links, the online meeting place, which is being held instead of the cancelled IGTM event. The event takes place from 20-22 October and ensures the annual meeting of the golf travel professionals can still take place, even in these testing times.

Antognolla Golf underwent an extensive renovation in 2018-2019, with the golf course now benefitting from the works completed. The investment into a full bunker redesign and rebuild, major irrigation system upgrade and extensive drainage to improve year-round playing conditions, as well as a fantastic new driving range, has now made Antognolla Golf one of the most stunning and beautifully presented golf courses in Italy.

Antognolla Golf has been re introducing itself to Tour Operators over the last few months with attractive nett rates and a full Tour Operator Toolkit and would be delighted to meet with Tour Operators, DMCs and media, as part of IGTM Links.

César Burguière, Golf Director for Antognolla stated, like everyone, we were looking forward to IGTM in Wales. However, IGTM have created an excellent alternative to ensure the same opportunities to meet with buyers and media is still possible. Antognolla Golf are looking forward to telling you more about what we have to offer, here in Umbria, the Green Heart of Italy.

Cesar went on to add “Antognolla is a rare find and is everything you love about Italy and golf, in one mesmerizing location. Golf, gastronomy and culture collide to deliver an outstanding golfing holiday experience which will appeal to all golfing markets. The Ryder Cup has also woken the Italian golf tourism industry, so we are capitalizing on this global event which will see Italy at the forefront of European Golf in 2023 now”.

Located just 20 minutes from Perugia airport and conveniently located between Florence and Rome, with very good flight access, in a truly undiscovered Italian region, Antognolla can become the go-to location for discerning golfers looking for their next Italian golfing adventure.
