Explanar Golf announces Tour sponsorship

7.00am 15th July 2008 - Sponsorship

Explanar® Golf has become a sponsor of the growing Ivobank™ PGA® EuroPro Tour which is aimed at supporting aspiring Tour Players on their way to the European Tour.

The sponsorship will see Explanar feature in televised Tour events plus enable players to work with the World’s No 1 Golf Training & Fitness System, now favoured by many leading Tour Players on both sides of the Atlantic.

Sam Pigott of the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour commented, “Explanar’s involvement is a great endorsement of how far the Tour has come over the past few years. Both 2008 Irish Open champion Richard Finch and 2008 European Open Champion Ross Fisher have both been full-time members on the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour and Explanar’s global awareness will further raise our profile.”

Explanar managing director Tony Clark added, “It’s a great fit for us. Explanar is used by the best and we associate ourselves with professional organisations around the world that want to grow the game. The Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour meets that criterion at an elite level.”

The Explanar is used by leading players on all the main Tours including; Paul McGinley, David Lynn, Bradley Dredge, Sam Torrance, Simon Lilly, PGA Tour players Jerry Kelly, Mark Hensby, Shaun Micheel, Y E Yang, Freddy Jacobson and LPGA player Johanna Head to name just a few.
