Ernie Els announced as new Brand Ambassador for SwitchGrips

US grip brand SwitchGrips has announced a long-term partnership with World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els.

The 49-year-old four-time Major winner has long been an advocate and user of SwitchGrips. “It’s great for me to be able to properly formalise my relationship with SwitchGrips,” says Els, “I look forward to being able to spread the word and help introduce these game-changing grips to an international audience.”

SwitchGrips, founded by Eddie Rogacki, won the award for Best New Product at the PGA Show in 2015.  Since that time, the brand has expanded into a full product line of adjustable counterbalanced swing and putter grips.

“The beauty of the SwitchGrips product is that it’s so simple,” said Els. “We all know the vagaries of golf. Sometimes you need a new look or feel with your clubs, just to change things up a bit. This product allows golfers to do exactly that; to experiment themselves with different weights. It’s a brilliant solution and the quality is top-notch. Once golfers know about this product, there’s no going back. SwitchGrips are the only grips you’ll want on your clubs.”

SwitchGrips founder and CEO Eddie Rogacki commented: “We’ve really enjoyed working with Ernie these past few years and have developed a good relationship. We know Ernie would not lend his name to a product that he doesn’t love or believe in, so when it came to the selection of a global ambassador for our fast-growing brand, Ernie was a natural fit.  Ernie is one of the game’s true legends, respected and admired all around the world.  We’re honoured to have him officially on board and look forward to working together in the years to come.”
