De Vere Mottram Hall’s tournament credentials have once again been further underlined after being chosen by Ryder Cup talisman Ian Poulter’s clothing company IJP Design to host the inaugural IJP Design Tour event this Summer. Away from the course, there is a contemporary new clubhouse which includes a fully-featured, ultra-modern Halfway house, along with De Vere’s signature Claret Jug Bar and Restaurant which has quickly become a firm favourite with members and guests alike, so is sure to be a hit with competitors in the summer. The Golf Shop also underwent a complete face lift, and is now well stocked, including the full IJP brand range amongst other leading golf and lifestyle brands. Furthermore, the newly renovated bedrooms, restaurants, and state-of-the-art Spa and Leisure Club mean that the resort is now one of the UK’s leading tournament venue, ready to host guests and spectators alike both on and off the course.
“To be chosen to host this event, which is associated with such an elite name in world golf and a fan favourite, Ian Poulter, is testament to the fantastic development that the course has undergone over the last year’ commented Keith Pickard, Regional Director, De Vere. “We are enormously proud of Mottram Hall’s growing reputation as a leading tournament host and continue to build upon the success of last year’s European Senior Tour event is progress we are extremely excited about.”
