The European Tour is delighted to announce a two year partnership with global sponsorship evaluation company, Repucom International. Repucom International, using its proprietary image detection technology and industry accepted valuation metrics, will analyse the broadcasts of all European Tour events for Tour partners and tournament sponsors.

The European Tour ‘s impact on the global sports landscape has grown significantly over the last decade through co-sanctioned tournaments across Asia, Australia and the Middle East as well as an expanding global broadcast distribution.

Repucom International, in conjunction with its partner, GroupM will audit approximately 300 broadcasts spanning 60 countries with a potential viewing audience of over 300 million for each event on the Tour. This coupled with the Repucom International sponsorship evaluation tools will ensure The European Tour is at the industry forefront for delivering robust information back to its important stakeholders.

Tim Hunt, Brand Director of The European Tour, commented: “The ability for The European Tour to provide our partners, sponsors and promoters with an accurate and compelling assessment of the value of their association is one of our primary aims. With this new relationship, we can utilize Repucom’s expertise and independence to deliver timely, irrefutable and robust evaluations that will further underpin the significant value The European Tour can deliver to our stakeholders.”

Danny Townsend, President EMEA & South Asia, Repucom International, said: “Repucom is delighted to have been chosen by The European Tour to be the provider of sponsorship evaluation and broadcast auditing services for the next two years. Repucom has over 450 clients worldwide and adding a client of the calibre of The European Tour speaks volumes for the quality of our service offering. The European Tour is without doubt a global sports property and through the supply of our services will now be able to demonstrate to key stakeholders the magnitude of their commercial assets.”

Repucom International has bolstered its European operations substantially in 2009 with senior appointments in the European Headquarters in London and a sales office in Paris.
