The R&A has confirmed that from 2027 Glasgow Gailes in Scotland and Prince’s Golf Club in Kent will be added to the list of venues for hosting Final Qualifying, replacing Dundonald Links and Royal Cinque Ports.
Burnham & Berrow and West Lancashire will both continue as Final Qualifying venues next year.
This week, three events in The Open Qualifying Series will offer a total of five places for the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. They are the New Zealand Open (1 place), South African Open (3 places) and Argentinian Open (1 place).
