Stuburt Star Breaks LIV Golf Record

8.30am 11th June 2025 - Sponsorship & Events

Stuburt ambassador Joaquin Niemann’s victory at LIV Golf Virginia this weekend has seen him become the player with the record number of LIV Golf wins since the Tour’s debut in 2022. With a final round 8 under par that left him one shot ahead of Graeme McDowell and Anirban Lahiri, Niemann secured his 6th LIV title, and 4th win from seven starts this season.

“Joaquin has just been unstoppable this year,” commented Graeme Stevens, Managing Director of Torque GC apparel brand Stuburt. “The level of golf he is playing is phenomenal and we’re delighted that Stuburt is able to support him in this remarkable run of form. We work closely with all of our ambassadors to make sure they have the best apparel for their needs on the course and not only has Joaquin been extremely knowledgeable and professional to work with, he’s simply a really nice guy. We’re so happy with his success this year and can’t wait to see him take Stuburt to another Major as he tees it up at the U.S. Open later this week.”

His latest victory at LIV Golf Virginia caps a remarkable run of form that has seen Niemann record 8 worldwide wins in the last 16 months and secure his first Top 10 finish in a Major when he finished T8 at the USPGA Championship. Niemann also extended his lead at the top of the LIV Golf standings, as he aims to go one better than his second place finish to John Rahm in last year’s overall title race.
