Marriott Hotels Ltd has signed English European Tour professional Daniel Brooks as a Brand Ambassador.

Under the terms of the one-year deal, the European Tour winner will wear the Marriott logo on both the front of his cap and his right sleeve, representing the renowned hotel group as he plays a global schedule in 2016.

Marriott hold 11 Championship venues across the UK alone and the affiliation with Daniel highlights the brand’s continued commitment to the game.

The 29 year-old from Basildon, who currently sits 55th in the Race to Dubai rankings, claimed the Madeira Islands Open in 2014 and has since established himself as one of the most promising English talents on the European Tour.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Daniel Brooks has signed a one year deal to act as a Brand Ambassador for Marriott,” said Alison Ainsworth, Senior Director of Golf, Leisure & Spa Operations Europe at Marriott Hotels.

“His values align perfectly with the brand, and we look forward to him representing Marriott as he competes in some of the biggest professional golf events in the world this year.”

“I’m delighted to become a Brand Ambassador for Marriott and look forward to working with them in order to help raise the profile of its UK golf destinations among golfers around the world,” said Brooks.

Marriott destinations continue to provide a unique and unrivalled golfing experience, offering superb levels of accommodation, excellent facilities and the warm, hospitable service associated with the Marriott name.
