Live music will return to the BMW PGA Championship when Welsh rock band Feeder and global hitmakers Clean Bandit headline the Slingsby Show Stage at the third Rolex Series event of the 2021 Race to Dubai, which takes place at Wentworth Club from September 9-12.

Spectators will be treated to a festival of golf and entertainment at the prestigious Surrey venue as it once again plays host to some of the biggest stars of world golf in the final counting event for qualification to Padraig Harrington’s European Ryder Cup team.

Feeder, a three-piece band formed in Newport, Wales in 1994, have enjoyed huge commercial success, with a combined total of 183 weeks on the singles and albums charts as of 2019, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012.

Clean Bandit made their breakthrough in 2014 with the Grammy-winning single, “Rather Be”, and have gone on to land three Number One singles in their native UK, while racking up two top ten singles in the USA’s Billboard Hot 100. Having sold over 55 million singles worldwide and accumulated over 15 billion streams, while also picking up eight BRIT Award nominations and two Ivor Novello wins, they will provide a DJ Set with Live Vocalist at the Slingsby Stage.

Kit Gartrell, the European Tour’s Championship Director for the BMW PGA Championship, said: “We truly cannot wait to welcome fans back on to the hallowed turf of Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship, which promises once again to be one of the standout sporting events of the British summer. We are delighted to have a full live set from Feeder and a DJ set from Clean Bandit as the headline acts for our Slingsby Show Stage, two multiple-award-winning acts who have a fantastic reputation for providing unforgettable live performances.

“This country is riding a wave of positivity from a sporting perspective after the national football team’s efforts on home soil in the European Championships, and the BMW PGA Championship will provide an unmissable festival atmosphere for sports fans.”
