LIV Golf to offer live betting at Chicago tournament

9.21am 20th September 2023 - Sponsorship & Events

The LIV Golf League’s upcoming event in Chicago will be the first to feature live betting markets following a partnership between LIV Golf and micro-betting company Simplebet.

LIV Golf Chicago is being held at Rich Harvest Farms from September 22-24.

These micro-betting markets will initially roll out exclusively through Hard Rock Bet’s platform which is available through the App Store (iOS users), the Google PlayStore (Android users), online at HardRock.bet, and at its retail sportsbooks. It also offers Simplebet’s markets for NFL, college football, MLB, NBA, and college basketball through its play-by-play betting.

Powered by Simplebet, sports bettors will have the ability to wager on new in-event markets for key golfers on the LIV Golf roster. The partnership paves the way for never-before-seen markets on LIV Golf events, such as betting on a specific score a player will have on a hole (birdie or better, par, bogey or worse), whether a player will hit the fairway off the tee on par 4s and par 5s, as well as whether a player will hit the green on a par 3. Markets such as “Will Brooks Koepka hit the fairway on this hole” and “Will Cameron Smith make a birdie or better on this hole” have now become actionable opportunities for LIV Golf fans across the US.

“The LIV Golf Chicago event marks a massive accomplishment for the entire Simplebet team” said Simplebet CEO Chris Bevilacqua. “We couldn’t be more excited to launch our partnership with a league as forward-thinking as LIV Golf and provide engaging opportunities for its fans to engage with the sport. Our team has spent countless hours working to create the optimal product for LIV Golf’s fans across the country and throughout world.”
