Jeunghun Wang has joined International Sports Management as he enters the most exciting phase of his fledgling career.
The South Korean, 20, showed his quality and mental strength with a superb win at the Trophee Hassan II earlier this month, holing three memorable putts to secure victory through a play-off. Now Jeunghun is looking forward to making even more of a mark on the European Tour.
He is the second South Korean on ISM’s books, following in the footsteps of last year’s BMW PGA Championship winner Ben An, who was his team-mate in the EurAsia Cup.
Jeunghun said: “I’m so pleased to be working with International Sports Management. The win in Morocco gets me into a lot of big tournaments and I am really looking forward to what is ahead of me.
“I’ve got a lot of faith in them to guide me and help me make the right decisions.”
ISM is one of the world’s leading management agencies and has Masters champion Danny Willett, Europe’s Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke, former Open champion Louis Oosthuizen and ex-world number one Lee Westwood among its clients.
Group Chief Executive Officer Chubby Chandler said: “You could only be impressed by Jeunghun’s performance under such pressure in Morocco. He showed a combination of skill and maturity to get the win.
“The most exciting thing about him is that this is just the start for him. We’ve been working with Jeunghun for a few weeks now and he has a very bright future indeed.”
