Golfclubber, the UK’s first golf and entertainment festival, has appointed Azalea, the international PR and marketing agency specialising in golf, tourism, leisure and lifestyle, to grow its profile and build its audience following the success of its debut event earlier this year.

Founded by Chris Clark, Golfclubber was created to offer a more modern and expansive way to experience golf, bringing the game to a wider, more-inclusive audience through entertainment, technology and live events.

Golfclubber took place for the first time this year at Magazine London, Greenwich Peninsula, from April 10-11 and featured live golf, music, masterclasses, technology, challenges, food and talks.

The inaugural event also hosted the UK’s first Majors Fan Zone, with live coverage from Augusta National across five giant screens, alongside interactive commentary, giveaways and DJ sets.

More than 3,000 people attended across the weekend, with Saturday delivering a high-energy, adults-only day and Sunday opening up to families, designed to help get younger players into the game.

The 2026 edition aattracted a wide range of brand sponsors, including adidas, HEAD Golf in partnership with TrendyGolf, Hyperice, Takomo and Caddy Comps.

Alongside a guest and creator line up spanning golf and wider sporting culture, featuring the likes of Jimmy Bullard, Tony Bellew, Rudimental’s Locky, Ladies European Tour player Hannah Screen and PGA coach Georgia Ball, together with leading golf content creators Fore Bros, Golf Life and Trey Niven.

The appointment comes off the back of a strong run for Azalea, whose golf, travel and lifestyle portfolio has grown steadily, delivering standout media coverage and audience growth for clients navigating the kind of crossover between core golf audiences and wider lifestyle and entertainment culture that Golfclubber is built on.

Chris Clark, founder of Golfclubber, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Azalea. Golfclubber has always been about doing things differently, and it means a lot to have a team of this calibre helping us tell that story and position our festival in the best possible light as we build up to next year.

“This is a brand that has the opportunity to shape the golf market in the UK, and Azalea’s experience across golf and lifestyle media gives us real confidence to introduce Golfclubber to as greater audience as possible.”

Luke Frary, managing director of Azalea, added: “Golfclubber is exactly the kind of brand we enjoy working with, genuinely one of a kind, and already establishing itself as an industry disruptor in how golf is being reimagined for a new generation of fans.

“There is nothing else quite like it in the UK market. Our job is to make sure that story reaches golfers and non-golfers alike, as Golfclubber builds towards next year. This is a brilliant addition to our portfolio and a partnership we’re really excited about.”

The 2027 event is scheduled to take place from April 10-11.
