83 golfers from 20 countries have gathered at The Greenbrier for the Faldo Series Grand Final and prepared perfectly for the eighteenth edition of the tournament, which tees off tomorrow. Players have enjoyed two days of practice whilst spending time with a number of industry experts including Sir Nick Faldo; Fanny Sunesson; Ted Bishop; Faldo’s personal coach Keith Wood and professionals from TrackMan and ProGolf Health.
“I am proud to be here this week and have really enjoyed helping these talented young golfers prepare for the Grand Final,” commented Fanny Sunesson, one of the most successful caddies in golf history. “I hope that the players have made the most of the unique opportunity that they have had to work with Nick and the other experts over the last two days and that they are now completely ready for the start of the tournament tomorrow.”
Competitors aged 12 to 21 will contest for the title of Faldo Series Champion over 54 holes on the Old White TPC course at The Greenbrier. With the field divided into five age-categories, three boys and two girls will each receive a trophy and an exemption into the ninth Asia Grand Final in 2015. The leading boy and girl will also be invited to play in a professional Tour event.
