
After winning the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Classic with his John Letters Master Model Irons, staff player Phil Archer has climbed to the summit of the second-tier of European Golf and penned a deal with the leading Scottish golf equipment manufacturer.
The 40-year old English man, commented: “I’m delighted to have re-signed with John Letters. I have worked with them for a number of years now and it’s great to continue our partnership. The equipment is first class and so is the service I have received, which has been a huge help to me on tour.”
Backing up his victory inColumbiawith a top three finish at The Barclays Kenyan Open, Archer has built a lead at the top of the Order of Merit and is targeting a swift return to the European Tour.
“I’ve spent a lot of time between events at John Letters state-of-the-art testing facility in Huddersfield, hitting all the latest Letters’ equipment including the new Master Model Grind wedges, Master Model Fairway woods and also the Master Model blades. The new wedges and irons have gone straight in the bag and have already brought me success” added Archer.
With testing and feedback by Tour Players an important part of the John Letters product development process, the club makers left no stone unturned in their pursuit to become the finest club makers in golf.
