The St. James’s Place National Pro-Am Championship is back in 2024, offering a unique opportunity for both PGA Professionals and amateurs to represent their club on the national and international stage.

Widely regarded as one of the most popular pro-ams in Europe, the event is open to golf clubs throughout the UK and Ireland. Seven Regional Finals, held at prestigious venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, will determine a 12-team field who will battle it out to be crowned St. James’s Place National Pro-Am champions at the Grand Final in Turkey.

Open to both male and female amateurs aged 18 or over and based at a golf club in the UK or Ireland, the St. James’s Place National Pro-Am pairs PGA Professionals with an amateur from their club to embark on a unique golfing journey.

Amateurs who win their club’s qualifying round will be able to partner their PGA Professional at one of seven Regional Finals where they will compete for a place in the Grand Final in Turkey – with the spectacular Antalya Golf Club, PGA National Turkey and all-inclusive five-star hospitality at the Sirene Belek Hotel Antalya awaiting the finalists.

This year’s event will once again be sponsored by St. James’s Place, one of the UK’s leading wealth management companies. With a prize fund of £41,000, including £10,000 for the winning PGA Professional, don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience and make sure your club has entered.

Commenting on the event, Robert Maxfield, PGA Chief Executive, said: “We are extremely pleased to announce the return of the St. James’s Place National Pro-Am. This unique event is gaining in popularity each year and provides amateur golfers with a rare and exciting opportunity to team up with a PGA Professional and represent their club in a national competition.

“Once again, we are delighted to be working with St. James’s Place to deliver this year’s event and we thank them for their ongoing support as title sponsor for one of the Association’s most popular tournaments.”

Paul Ainslie, Head of Division, Marketing Partnerships at St. James’s Place, added: “We are thrilled to continue our support for the St. James’s Place National Pro-Am Championship into 2024. To every competitor, we wish you the best of luck on this exciting journey and hope to meet you along the way.”
