England Golf partners with Turkish Airlines

Turkey's national airline carrier forms commercial partnership with England Golf.

England Golf has announced a new long-term partnership with Turkish Airlines, marking the start of a three-year agreement with the global airline.

The partnership celebrates enhanced international travel access and support for England Golf through a carrier renowned for having the largest international route network, flying to more countries than any other.

Turkish Airlines will be recognised as the Official Airline Partner of England Golf, providing value to England Golf members and iGolf subscribers, alongside wider support for the amateur game – from grassroots participation to elite performance.

As part of the agreement, Turkish Airlines will become the headline supporter of the Brabazon Trophy, one of the most prestigious championships in the global amateur calendar. Hosted this year at Moortown Golf Club from May 21-24, the Brabazon Trophy attracts elite amateur talent from across the world.

Turkish Airlines’ support will help elevate the championship over the next three years, enhancing its profile and ensuring it continues to provide a world-leading competitive experience for emerging talent on the international stage. They will also have presence at the full calendar of England Golf’s championships and events programme, with on-course branding.

Turkish Airlines will also have extensive brand presence across core England Golf-owned marketing channels, including its website, social media channels, app and email communications — reaching golf club members, iGolf subscribers, England Captains, and affiliated clubs and counties nationwide. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to growing the game and supporting those who love it and connecting golfing communities through sport and travel.

Turkish Airlines’ investment will contribute directly to England Golf’s 2025-2030 Strategy – Let’s Inspire More Golfers, which champions accessibility, performance, community and the development of the sport at every level.

A key component of the agreement includes funding to support international travel for England Golf’s Performance Squad, enabling players to compete and gain experience on the global stage.

England Golf members and iGolf subscribers will also benefit from exclusive offers, competitions and giveaways provided by Turkish Airlines. The partnership will deliver meaningful added value to golfers across the country.

Serhat Gök, Turkish Airlines’ General Manager for Manchester, said: “We’re glad to partner with England Golf, supporting players at every level and connecting them to global opportunities through our unrivalled international network. As we wrap up the Turkish Airlines Open, we’re delighted to be supporting international travel for the Performance Squad and we look forward to enabling more players to compete and gain experience on the world stage, while enhancing leading events like the Brabazon Trophy.”

Jeremy Tomlinson, Group Chief Executive at England Golf, said: “This is a proud moment for the England Golf team as we celebrate a landmark partnership with the global brand Turkish Airlines – an organisation who are partnering with us to support our national squads’ travel to international tournaments and training, as well as offering future benefits to our wider membership. Together we will make every effort to promote golf in the most positive light and, of course, showcase golf as a sport for all.”
