Ashworth Golf has signed PGA Tour player Tom Hoge to a staff apparel contract as the iconic apparel brand returns to the US market.

Hoge, who is currently 30th in the world ranking, will be outfitted in Ashworth Golf apparel when competing on the PGA TOUR and other professional events around the world. He won last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and recently captured the QBE Shootout in December alongside partnerSahith Theegala. He also finished third at this month’s Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.

Along with other recently signed Ashworth staff player Fred Couples, Hoge will be outfitted in a signature Ashworth polo, outerwear and pants, as the new-look Ashworth integrates a mix of tradition with innovation, while offering golfers the ultimate in fit, function, style and performance.

“With the Ashworth brand returning to US market, we felt it was important to have a presence on the PGA TOUR,” said Eddie Fadel, President of Ashworth Golf. “Tom Hoge is playing at such a high level, and while he fully appreciates the legacy of the Golfman logo for the 45+ community of golfers, he embraces the opportunity to help showcase the authentic, new look Ashworth brand to a new generation of golfers.”

The new line, adorned with the iconic Golfman logo, features a modern day version of the original cotton polos from Ashworth, combining technical fabrics with natural fibres. Blending the highest quality cotton with just the right level of performance microfiber enhances fit and all-day comfort, as well as the proper amount of stretch during the golf swing.

Ashworth’s relaunch into the US market is being supported with resources and supply chain operations by Newtimes Group. The company will be launching its new range at the 2023 PGA Show in Orlando next week.
