Singh Brar signs for Cobra Puma Golf

3.30pm 4th May 2022 - Sponsorship & Events

Hampshire-born tour professional Jack Singh Brar has signed a sponsorship deal with Cobra Puma Golf that will see the 25-year-old DP World Tour player wearing Puma Golf apparel and footwear alongside new Cobra clubs for the rest of the 2022 season.

Singh Brar will have a Cobra driver, fairway woods and irons in his bag, including the brand’s latest LTDx metalwoods, while he will be wearing pieces from Puma Golf’s SS22 collection, along with the brand’s shoes, including the ALPHACAT spikeless shoe and the IGNITE ARTICULATE spiked shoe.

Joe Folker, COBRA PUMA\s Brand Experience Manager, said: “At COBRA PUMA Golf we not only look for talented athletes but also golfers that are engaging and fit with our brand DNA. Jack is the perfect example of that, and we are excited to capture him on a full 360 deal going forward and would like to welcome him to the CPG family as he looks ahead to a busy 2022 on the DP World Tour.”

Singh Brar enjoyed a stellar amateur career, playing for Hampshire and England at U16 and U18 levels, winning the 2012 Faldo Series, the 2013 South England Boys Open, and the 2017 Hampshire Salver and Lytham Trophy. He also played in the 2017 Walker Cup, where he was GB & Ireland’s highest scorer with three points from four matches.

After turning pro at the end of 2017, Jack recorded two victories in his first season on the Challenge Tour in 2018, winning the Red Sea Little Venice Open and the Corden Golf Open. A sixth place finish on that season’s order of merit earned him a European Tour card for 2019-2020.

On signing for COBRA PUMA GOLF, Jack commented“I am delighted to join the COBRA PUMA GOLF and cannot wait for 2022. I’ve always loved the Puma range, but to now represent the Cobra brand also is a dream come true. The products performance is second to none and it all went straight in my bag a few weeks ago.”

Jack is represented by sports management company World In Motion, whose director Ian Bird commented: “We are delighted to confirm Jack has signed with COBRA PUMA GOLF. This is a great partnership and with the exciting plans that COBRA and PUMA have in the golf market, we see this is a fantastic fit for Jack.”
