Foresight Sports Europe is playing a key role in finding a winner in American Golf’s exciting nationwide nearest-the-pin competition on Le Golf National, host of this year’s Ryder Cup, with the winner receiving a customised set of TaylorMade irons.
Golfers at participating American Golf stores across the UK and Ireland have three attempts to get nearest the pin on the 11th hole at Le Golf National – a 178 yard par 3 – using Foresight Sports’ direct camera measurement technology. A live leaderboard can be viewed on the American Golf website, where the closest shots are recorded until the competition closes on the 30th September.
“We’ve seen a massive response to this competition already and we couldn’t have done it without the crucial involvement of Foresight’s market-leading technology,” said Neil Mahon, Head of Operations at American Golf. “Any golfer can walk into one of our stores and feel like they’re playing at the stunning Ryder Cup course in Paris with a chance to win a great prize,” he added.
