Titleist launches ball fitting app for pros

10.14am 15th May 2025 - Retail

Titleist has introduced a new golf ball fitting app for Professionals to conduct comprehensive and efficient fittings and help golfers find the best Titleist golf ball model for their game.

The app combines individual golfer information with launch monitor data from 12 representative shots with a half-wedge, full-swing pitching wedge, 7-iron and driver.

The result of each shot is fed into a proprietary algorithm developed by data gathered from thousands of Titleist golf ball fittings to deliver a Titleist golf ball recommendation.

“Every day, we see the benefits of golfers finding the right flight, spin and feel for their games,” said Jeremy Stone, Senior Vice President, Golf Ball Marketing. “The Titleist Golf Ball Fitting App gives us the scale to meet more golfers on the fitting tee and provide them an accurate golf ball recommendation that is unique to them.”

Andrew Buttar, Titleist Golf Ball Product Specialist Team Leader, added: “Ultimately the ball app is a tool to help the fitter provide a better service to their customers and help them sell more Titleist golf balls.

“The app can be used for a number of different things, for example, it can be used for a standalone ball fitting, as all golfers would benefit from having the right ball for their game, but it can also be used to gain important information regarding the golfer’s game during a warm-up rather than wasting good swings, and also as great place to start before a full-bag custom fit.

“The ball fitting process only takes about 15 minutes to go through, hitting half-wedge, full-wedge, 7-iron and driver, and it will help underline the performance benefits and improved scoring opportunities that the right golf ball can bring.”
