9.58am 8th January 2024 - Retail

Premier Licensing, the UK distributor for PRG Bespoke Golf Accessories and Evnroll Putters, is delighted to announce the addition of two key appointments to bolster their sales and customer support services going forward.

Kate Thorne joins the team from Mizuno as Sales Operations Manager and brings a wealth of experience to the role, while Aaron Patterson joins from DPD and will head up Operations.

“We’ve experienced unprecedented growth over recent years largely driven by the popularity of PRG products at green-grass retailers,” commented Kevin Funnell, Director. “We are delighted to add Kate and Aaron to the team to help support our growth and help maintain and improve the level of service to our customers.”

Working closely with all clients, Thorne will help manage and support the sales team going forward as Premier Licensing continues to expand and grow.

Having played golf at a national level, Thorne has developed a thorough understanding of the golf industry over a number of years since graduating from the University of Newport in 2012 with a degree in Sports Studies. Working across multiple facets of the industry, including IMG, The Belfry Resort and Celtic Manor Resort, she joined Mizuno in 2014.

Starting as Golf EMEA Administrator for two years, before a further promotion to the role of Golf EMEA Product Co-Ordinator – Apparel, Footwear and Soft Goods. Since 2019, Kate has been the Golf EMEA Product Manager for all Apparel, Footwear and Soft Goods before making the switch to Premier Licensing.

Patterson started his career in the golf industry at BRS Golf in Sales and Marketing.  Running his own business for over seven years, he then turned to working in logistics with DPD as Depot Manager for the logistics giant from 2018-23, before joining the team at Premier.
