GolfSupport reveals most ‘googled’ golf brands

GolfSupport.com, one of the UK’s leading online equipment retailers, has released details of the most popular golf brands according to the number of online searches by consumers.

Using search engine data from analytics tool SEM, the website discovered how many times a month on average, UK consumers are searching online for 63 popular golf brands.

GolfSupport.com found that Titleist is the most ‘Googled’ golf brand in the UK, with an average of 12,100 searches per month – the equivalent of 33 searches each day. Thereafter – Callaway, Motocaddy, Nike Golf, PowaKaddy and TaylorMade each respectively gained 8,100 searches every month.

In joint third position, FootJoy and Galvin Green both received an average of 6,600 online queries per month, while Mizuno (5,400) and Ping (4,400) also featured high up the list.

Under Armour (4,400), Adidas (2,900), Puma (1,600), and Skechers (720) were the most popular among the apparel/shoe brands, while apparel-only brands Calvin Klein Golf and Oscar Jacobson both attracted an average of 1,000 searches per month.
