Glenmuir combines tradition with innovation for AW24 collection

The colour palette for Glenmuir’s Autumn/Winter 2024 apparel collection draws inspiration from the crystal blue waters of Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris, and the apricot-hued sunsets often seen on the west coast of Scotland.

The Garvie Golf Sweater

For men’s golf sweaters, the Fintry and Garvie stand out with their luxurious ‘Touch of Cashmere’ fabric, the perfect blend of cashmere and combed cotton, featuring distinctive designs and a PFC free water-repellent finish for both style and comfort on the golf course.

This coming AW24 season, Glenmuir is introducing a wide range of high-tech men’s golf midlayers and outerwear. The Arden, Newton, Carlton, Govan, Culross, and Cameron pieces represent a fusion of advanced performance materials and elegant design, each offering unique features to enhance the golfing experience.

From innovative thermal properties to dynamic styling, these garments are crafted to provide comfort and functionality, with an environmentally friendly PFC water-repellent finish, ensuring golfers can perform their best in any weather.

Joni Fleece Midlayer

Ladies’ Collection

The ladies’ golf knitwear collection, including the Annie and Chrissie, offers a touch of cashmere luxury, blending sophistication and comfort. The Joni fleece ladies’ midlayer is a cosy testament to functional elegance, uniquely designed for the discerning female golfer.

Completing the collection are new headwear offerings for both men (Leith and Dundas) and ladies’ (Cleo), each crafted to provide warmth and style, complementing any autumn winter golfing outfit.

Anniina Sorvisto, chief designe for Glenmuir and Sunderland of Scotland, commented: “The advancements in sustainable manufacturing have been a pivotal development for Glenmuir. This approach not only aligns with our environmental commitments but also elevates our product design, durability, and performance.

“As designers, the shift towards a sustainable model, especially focusing on natural fibres, is a thrilling challenge to try and constantly innovate. We are eager for our customers to experience the Autumn/Winter 2024 collection, which reflects our journey towards becoming the world’s most cherished golf clothing brand.”

The new collection will be available online and at retail from August 2024.
