Big Max reports strong sales in Europe

2.17pm 5th April 2023 - Retail

BIG MAX has reported a dominant performance in market share for golf bags and push trolleys in 2022 following the publication of the latest figures from Golf Datatech.

Despite being best known for its innovative push trolleys, the figures show that it was golf bags that made the most impressive gains for BIG MAX.

Based on the success of its waterproof and water-resistant Aqua and Dri Lite lines, BIG MAX produced over 35% of all bags sold, a jump of 5% and 25% clear of the second place brand.

In the push trolley market, results were similarly impressive, with 39% of all push trolleys sold in 2022 being BIG MAX – more than the combined sales of the next seven competitors.

In the 29 years since founding BIG MAX, CEO Thomas Reiter still gets a great deal of satisfaction from the continued dominance of both European markets.

“I’m delighted that we continue to excite golfers all across the world,” he commented. “I love to see us increasing market share and doing well as a business, but mostly I love that golfers want to use our products. We spend a lot of time thinking about what a golfer needs, and it gives me huge satisfaction when we get it right. With our smallest ever push trolley the Blade Trio hitting stores around the world this year, I can’t wait to see if golfers agree with our ideas again!”

The coming year sees BIG MAX’s biggest new launch in over give years. The new Blade Trio push cart is based on the most impressive features across the brand’s multi-award winning fold flat push trolley range. This will make the Blade Trio, BIG MAX’s most compact and fastest folding model. Despite its diminutive size when folded, the Blade Trio will open out to comfortably handle the most spacious golf bags, delivering the perfect blend of compact fold, beautiful aesthetics and practicality on the course.
