Oce®nico Group, the leading developer of quality beach, leisure and golf resorts in Portugal, will launch its new €600 million Vilamoura Golf & Garden Resort, set close to Oce®nico’s five world-class golf courses, on 4th October 2007.

The new five-star standard resort, which will include luxury apartments and villas, will also feature extensive gardens crafted by celebrity landscape designer Diarmuid Gavin and will provide owners with membership to a total of seven Algarve golf courses.

The announcement of the new project follows Oce®nico’s €125 million acquisition of five golf courses in Vilamoura earlier this year – an agreement that took Oce®nico’s global golf and property portfolio to over €2 billion.

Commenting on the launch of the new development, Oce®nico Group director Simon Burgess, commented, “The Vilamoura Golf & Garden Resort is going to be a stunning development, combining the highest design standards, with Diarmuid’s garden creativity and membership of seven championship golf courses. The result will be a resort that offers five-star standard style for a range of investors, from purchasers looking for strong rental income to those seeking a home from home.

“Vilamoura is already recognised as one of Europe’s top golfing resorts and by adding a property development of this quality we are focused on enhancing its appeal even further. This is a major step in our growth as Portugal’s leading property and golf specialist, and the launch will support our commitment to providing unrivalled new investment opportunities.”

Designed in a Moorish theme to complement local architecture and reflect the resort’s extensive Diarmuid Gavin-designed gardens, the Vilamoura Golf & Garden Resort is situated on a 170-acre site in the heart of Portugal’s Algarve. Along with exquisite gardens and pools, the new resort will also include a mix of restaurants and bars, as well as a state of the art gymnasium.

Property owners in the new Vilamoura Golf & Garden Resort will enjoy membership to seven renowned Oce®nico golf courses. Five in Vilamoura — The Oce®nico Old Course, Oce®nico Pinhal, Oce®nico Millennium, Oce®nico Laguna and Oce®nico Victoria – as well as the Christy O’Connor Jnr. and Nick Faldo designed golf courses at the nearby Amendoeira Golf Resort. These seven courses deliver variety and challenge for golfers of all levels.

Oce®nico Prestige will also be available at Vilamoura Golf & Garden Resort. These four and five bedroom villas come with private swimming pools, Diarmuid Gavin designed gardens and a luxury lifestyle including use of a Sunseeker luxury cruiser.

Oce®nico Prestige owners include Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood, David Howell, Paul McGinley, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington and Robert Karlsson.

The Vilamoura Golf & Garden Resort, which will be officially launched from 4th October, will comprise two- and three-bedroom apartments, two- and three-bedroom linked villas and four and five-bedroom villas. The deluxe two-bed apartments start at €485,000with luxury villas ranging from €2,000,000 to €2,500,000
