Morocco development site priced at 100m Euros

12.39am 11th December 2008 - Property

Located 90 minutes drive from Marrakech, the coastal town of Safi in Western Morocco offers breathtaking views across the Atlantic Ocean together with traditional Moroccan culture.

Safi is also Morocco’s most famous ceramic centre, featuring an ancient potter’s quarter and artisans of international reputation, and the town is steadily establishing itself as a viable tourist destination as a result of its stunning waterfront.

The land, which is adjacent to the waterfront, comprises a gross site area of 200-hectares and includes outline planning consent for several hotels, a commercial centre, marina, beach club, spa, gym, health club, water sports centre, tennis club and equestrian facility as well as luxury villas and apartments.

The 18-hole championship standard golf course, which will form the centre piece of this extensive development, will be designed by Nick Faldo.

Tenure of the land is freehold. The guide price is 100 million Euros.
