Moat House on the market

7.25am 11th October 2005 - Property

Savills Hotels have been appointed to act in the open marketing of the Cambridgeshire Moat House Hotel. The impressive commercial and leisure hotel has 134 letting bedrooms, extensive public areas including excellent conference and banqueting facilities, a leisure club and the 18 hole “Cambridgeshire” championship golf course.
When Queens Moat House Hotels was acquired, it was envisaged that Cambridgeshire Moat House would be disposed of as a single entity for a number of reasons, namely its position as the only golf hotel, therefore outside the core business model and also its high individual asset value.
Gary Witham of Savills confirms, “This is an outstanding opportunity and with a shortage of quality assets in the current marketplace, we are anticipating considerable international and domestic demand from a variety of different types of buyers all recognising the prime Cambridge location, extensive hotel, golf and leisure facilities and strong trading base, but at the same time still providing scope to further develop all aspects of the business in the period ahead.
The selling price is available only on application to Gary Witham in Savills London office Int. +44 (0)20 7409 9902
