Warwick District Council wishes to work with a commercial partner who is able to develop and manage the Newbold Comyn Golf Course in Royal Leamington Spa.

The course is located on Newbold Terrace East which is situated off the B4099 in Royal Leamington Spa. It is set within Newbold Comyn Park, a total area of 123 hectares, of which the golf course occupies 57 hectares

The 18 hole par 70, 6,315 yards course was established from ridge and furrow farmland in 1973. The course is suitable for golfers of all standards.

The course and offers extensive views over the town of Royal Leamington Spa and surrounding area. It is well matured for its age with established woodland and copses throughout. The key objectives for the Council are
• To ensure that pay and play golf remains available
• To upgrade the facilities and maintain them to the highest standards
• To ensure the business is effectively managed with an excellent customer satisfaction record

Operators who are able to demonstrate the relevant experience in the golf business, have the capacity to invest in the facilities on site and the ambition to help the Council to meet its Corporate Priorities are invited to an Open Day on Wed 22nd April 2009 (1.30 – 4.30pm)
