Thoulstone Golf Course

Strutt & Parker’s Leisure and Hotels Department is instructed to sell the freehold of Thoulstone Park.

Set in about 145 acres the business was closed around 6 years ago. Originally developed in the early 1990’s as an 18 hole golf course with floodlit 20 bay driving range, separate clubhouse and functions building it enjoyed solid membership and a reputation for weddings.

More recently, planning consent has been obtained to replace the functions building with a new 54 bedroom hotel. Situated 3 miles north of Warminster, just off the busy A36, Thoulstone is easily accessible for locals and visitors to Longleat, Frome and Bath.

Chris Gooch handling the sale said, “In the past the club had over 500 members and with a highly accessible location and fantastic development potential, the sale of Thoulstone presents an exciting opportunity to bring this super property back to life creating a new destination golf course and hotel.”
