Congratulations to promising young Wisley golfer, Alfredo Curbishley, who won the Age 13 category in July’s Veritas Junior World Golf Championships.
Alfredo claimed his place at the Wildwood qualifier and travelled to Los Angeles for the final. With impressive scores of 74, 73 and 71 he was victorious in the age 13 category by a massive seven shots.
Despite being only 13, Alfredo has also been drafted into the England under 15 squad and is also a member of the Surrey Elite junior squad. His Dad, Bill, is a long standing member of The Wisley and clearly practicing alongside some of the World’s best golfers has rubbed off on this young golfer.
