Wilson Golf has recently appointed a Technical Representative to strengthen its team during the increasingly popular custom fitting and demo days across the UK & Ireland.
PGA Professional, Fredryck ‘Freddie’ Meikle started his new role last month and will also aid the technical team when presenting product training to Wilson Staff stockists and advise on appropriate custom fit processes for the brand.
Freddie, based in Milton Keynes, was a Regional PGA Staff member with American Golf looking after nine stores in his region, helping staff reach KPI targets and played a key role in developing the ‘6-step Custom Fit Process’ in stores wo struggled with custom fit conversions.
He previously held the Assistant Manager’s role at American Golf in Milton Keynes after spending a year in Sydney working as a Team Leader and Golf Coach for Golf Mart. He was also the PGA Assistant Professional at Leighton Buzzard Golf Club for four years after graduating from the University of Birmingham (PGA) with a degree in Professional Golf Studies.
