Toptracer has appointed Justin Honea as the range technology company’s new chief operating officer and announced the promotion of Peter Barry to the role of vice president of global sales.

The COO role is the single point of accountability for global technology operations, customer service, and system uptime. Reliability, performance, and service execution are the primary drivers of customer satisfaction, renewals, and long-term value creation for the business, making this role one of the most critical leadership positions at Toptracer.

Honea will lead technology and operations, owning hardware, software, supply chain, customer support, and service delivery at global scale, while building the operating discipline required to support rapid growth.

Honea brings more than two decades of experience building premium brands across golf, consumer products and technology-adjacent industries. He most recently spent five years at Staccato, where he helped the firearms and munitions brand through a period of exceptional revenue growth while expanding into membership, training and live experiences. Prior to Staccato, Honea spent nearly a decade in the golf industry, including leadership roles at Adams Golf and Ben Hogan Golf.

“Toptracer is uniquely positioned to build an ecosystem of world-class technology, products and experiences for golfers and facility partners around the globe,” says Honea. “I’ve always believed that the best businesses start by deeply understanding what customers value, then delivering it with consistency at every touchpoint. The opportunity to help Toptracer do that at a global scale, while building lasting customer loyalty, is incredibly exciting.”

Peter Barry joined Toptracer in 2024 as Senior Director of Global Sales, overseeing sales strategies across multiple regions. With 23 years of experience at Callaway Golf in various leadership roles, he brings extensive expertise and foresight into where the golf industry is headed.

Barry has built high-performing teams that consistently set new records through his wealth of sales experience, strategic vision, and ability to stay close to customers. He has previously covered territories in Europe, North America and Latin America, and has consistently led sales teams to exceed goals and set benchmarks for excellence, so amplifying Barry’s role is an exciting moment for Toptracer’s future.

“I’ve always believed that the best growth strategy is helping our partners win,” says Barry. “By creating better experiences for golfers of all skill levels, we can grow participation, strengthen our industry, and leave the game better than we found it.”

Scott Blevins, President and Manager of Toptracer, said: “To have two individuals with Justin and Peter’s ability and innovative spirit is a blessing for our team and the industry as a whole. The only way to have the No.1 range technology in the world is to have the best people advising our course and range operators. We’re excited to continue innovating in the space and confident in what’s to come.”
