Prior to these achievements, in August 2009 he was selected to be a part of the British and Ireland Walker Cup team as well as being elected the England U16 Captain in 2006 and the England U18 Captain in 2008.

Wasserman’s Vice President & Head of Golf (EMEA), Brendan Taylor, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have signed Tommy, who is one of the best young prospects in golf. He illustrated his immense talent in winning the recent English Amateur Championship and his performance in finishing 2nd against a professional field at the English Challenge Tour event proved he is ready to make the transition into the professional game.”

In response to this Fleetwood commented: “I am absolutely delighted to be signing with Wasserman Media Group. Brendan and the golf division have great experience and I look forward to their individual and supportive management approach now that I have turned pro.”
